Digital Marketing & Sales Assistant

A content-led hybrid role: own our social channels, blog and product content as your core focus, with hands-on showroom sales to keep you close to customers and product. Variety, ownership and full training in a fast-growing Melbourne team.

About the Role

This is a content-led hybrid role. Your core focus is our digital presence — running our social channels, writing our blog and building out product content — supported by hands-on time on the showroom floor helping customers and preparing quotes.

It's built for someone who lives online but enjoys real customer contact too. If you like variety and don't want to be boxed into one lane, this one's for you. No need to hit the ground running — we'll train you on the technical product side.


What You'll Do

Digital Content & Social Media Core focus

  • Manage and grow our Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, X and RED (Xiaohongshu) accounts — content calendar, posting and community engagement
  • Write and publish SEO-minded blog articles — buying guides, trends, how-tos and product spotlights
  • Create and schedule Google Business Profile posts
  • Build product content — descriptions, spec highlights, lifestyle copy and image/video briefs — across our Shopify store and brand site
  • Capture simple product and showroom photography and short-form video
  • Track engagement and traffic, and refine what's working

Showroom & Sales Support

  • Welcome walk-in retail and trade customers, respond quickly, and understand their project — new build or renovation, number of bathrooms, floor plans and style
  • Advise across the full range and drive add-on sales — pairing shower screens, vanities and tapware into coordinated packages
  • Handle enquiries across phone, WeChat, WhatsApp, email and the website inbox — fast, clear and to the point
  • Prepare accurate quotes with validity periods, follow up systematically and log activity in Shopify / ShopDash
  • Manage order accuracy and risk — confirm sizing/feasibility with the customer's installer, and explain restocking fees and no-return policies on custom items (especially shower screens)
  • Coordinate stock, lead times and delivery / pickup with the warehouse team; build trade relationships and handle basic after-sales and warranty

What We're Looking For

  • Confident and personable in customer-facing settings, with a natural sales instinct
  • Strong written English and a flair for clear, on-brand copywriting
  • Hands-on experience running the major social platforms
  • Willing to learn technical product knowledge (e.g. shower screen measuring and installation) — full training provided
  • Mandarin and English strongly preferred — much of our customer base and trade communication is in Chinese (WeChat)
  • Organised and self-driven, happy wearing two hats in a small team
  • A genuine interest in interiors, bathrooms or renovation

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on RED (Xiaohongshu) experience — content creation, seeding or community growth
  • Experience in building products, homewares or retail
  • SEO, Canva / Adobe Creative Cloud, or basic video editing
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Google Analytics
  • Product or lifestyle photography
