Explore Melbourne Bathroom Shop’s corner bath collection and discover the perfect tub for compact and clever ways to refresh your bathroom. Crafted from premium, sanitary-grade acrylic with UV stabilisation and Lucite MMA for added strength, our corner baths are safe, easy to maintain and designed to last.
A corner bath is designed to fit neatly into a bathroom corner, creating a space-saving yet stylish solution for modern or smaller bathrooms. The rounded, slim-edge acrylic profile maximises floor space while giving the room a seamless, clean finish.
Our most popular models include 1500 mm left-hand or right-hand configurations, allowing for flexibility in layout and placement. The two-sided corner style ensures the bath fits snugly into its space and makes cleaning simple with no awkward corners to scrub.
Choose from Gloss White or Matte White finishes to suit your bathroom’s tone. Gloss White adds a bright, polished feel, while Matte White offers a softer, more understated elegance. Both are delivered in the same high-quality acrylic construction used across the collection.

Start with the two wall lengths that form the corner, then check the bath’s full external dimensions and internal bathing space. A 1400mm or 1500mm corner bath can suit many compact or medium bathrooms, while 1700mm models generally provide more room for adults. Melbourne Bathroom Shop also carries selected compact corner baths from around 1000mm. Before ordering, mark the complete bath footprint on the floor and check clearance from the vanity, toilet, shower screen and doorway. Compare the Corner Baths with the wider Bathtub collection.
The left- or right-hand designation refers to which side of the bath is designed to sit against the adjoining wall. This is critical because a left-hand and right-hand bath can fit the same corner very differently. Stand facing the proposed bath position and check which end needs to meet the side wall, while also considering tapware, entry position and nearby fixtures. The current MBS range includes both left- and right-hand configurations on many 1400mm, 1500mm and 1700mm models. Always confirm the orientation shown on the product drawing before ordering.
A corner bath is designed to use two adjoining walls, while a standard back-to-wall bath generally sits against one rear wall. A corner design can make better use of a tight bathroom corner and reduce wasted space around the bath. A back-to-wall model may offer more flexibility if both ends of the bath need to remain exposed or accessible. Many products in the current Corner Bath collection are also described as corner back-to-wall freestanding baths, combining both concepts. Compare our Back to Wall Baths if you are deciding between the two layouts.
Wall-mounted bath tapware often works well because one or two sides of the bath sit close to finished walls. A wall bath spout or wall mixer can keep the floor area around the bath clear. Depending on the design and plumbing layout, other tapware configurations may also be possible. Check the bath rim, wall position and spout reach before rough-in so the water lands comfortably inside the bath. Tapware positions should be confirmed before waterproofing and tiling are completed, particularly where concealed mixers or spouts are being installed.
It depends on the model. Some current MBS corner baths are specifically listed with an overflow, while others do not include one. A separate bath waste may also be required depending on the product. Always check the individual product specification rather than assuming every corner bath includes the same waste and overflow setup. The waste location should also suit the plumbing rough-in before the bath is installed. If a separate fitting is required, compare our Bath Wastes and Plugs.
They can be, because the sides that sit directly against the walls do not create the narrow cleaning gaps often found around a fully freestanding bath. This is one practical reason corner back-to-wall designs can suit smaller bathrooms. The exposed front and open side still need normal cleaning, and fluted models may require more attention around textured surfaces than smooth-sided baths. The current MBS range includes both smooth and fluted corner designs. Choose the shape and finish according to both appearance and how much access you want around the bath.
Before ordering, confirm the overall length, width and height, left- or right-hand orientation, internal bathing space, waste position, overflow configuration, tapware location and clearance around nearby fixtures. Also check whether the model is a conventional corner design or a corner back-to-wall configuration. The current MBS collection includes compact models from around 1000mm through to 1700mm baths, so specifications vary considerably. Use the exact product drawing before plumbing, waterproofing or tiling is finalised, and browse the Corner Baths and wider Bathtub range before ordering.
