Planning an 1800mm Double Basin Vanity

Make the Width Work for Two People

An 1800mm double basin layout gives you room to plan two wash stations, but bowl size and placement determine the counter space between them. Check basin centres against your mirror, lighting and tap positions, and allow space for both users to stand. Measure drawer and door clearance near the shower, toilet and bathroom entrance. If the full unit leaves too little circulation space, compare 1500mm Double Bowls Vanities or 1200mm Double Bowls Vanities.

Check the Actual Cabinet and Top Dimensions

Use the selected product drawing rather than treating the 1800mm size label as the exact installed measurement. The BV03 1800 cabinet front drawing marks 1776mm width and 855mm height; it does not establish the selected top’s outside dimensions. Confirm cabinet depth, top width and overhang, and the finished height with your chosen basins. Depths, heights and layouts vary across the collection. For example, BV88 is listed at 460mm depth. Check the exact double-bowl configuration before planning a wall-to-wall fit.

Order the Double Bowl Package You Need

Choose 1800mm (Double Bowls) on multi-size listings, then select the package. Many listed 1800mm options offer cabinet only, flat stone tops or stone tops with undermount basins. Cabinet only excludes the top and basins. A flat stone top does not automatically include two bowls or holes. Confirm basin quantity, bowl positions, tap holes and waste requirements for the selected package; an option named “Undermount Basin” does not by itself confirm the full double-basin inclusions.

Top choices are specific to each range. BV74 lists an 1800mm 12mm Moulded Top option, while BV74 and BV75 also list selected plain and 50mm English Edge stone tops. Their product descriptions state that basins and pop-up wastes are sold separately, so confirm the inclusions of your chosen top option. Do not assume ceramic or moulded tops available on smaller sizes are offered at 1800mm. For size-only options such as BV52 and BV53, ask us to confirm the package components.

Plan Plumbing, Fixings and Delivery Access

Check the water and waste routes for both bowls with your installer, including clearance through drawers and cupboards. Review the exact storage arrangement around the two waste connections. For Wall Hung Vanities, confirm suitable wall support and the specified fixing method. For Freestanding Vanities, confirm floor level, fixing requirements and plumbing access. Measure doorways, stairs and turns along the delivery route, and ask about handling the selected cabinet and top before delivery.

Compare the Full 1800mm Range
