Choose a single bowl if you want one uninterrupted washing area for large pots, pans and trays or if cabinet space is limited. A double bowl provides separate areas for washing, rinsing, soaking or food preparation, but normally requires more cabinet width. It depends on the individual model. The current collection includes many drop-in/topmount sinks as well as selected undermount-compatible designs. A topmount sink sits over the benchtop opening with a visible rim and can suit straightforward installations. An undermount sink is installed beneath a compatible benchtop for a cleaner transition into the bowl. Some granite models support both installation methods. Start with the internal width of the base cabinet, then check the minimum cabinet requirements for the exact sink. Allow enough room underneath for the bowl, waste, plumbing, mounting hardware and any bins or drawers. A double bowl or sink with drainer generally requires more space than a compact single bowl. If you are replacing an existing sink, also compare the new cut-out dimensions carefully. A sink with similar overall dimensions may still have a different bowl profile or mounting flange and may not fit the existing opening.

A built-in drainer can be useful if you regularly hand-wash dishes, rinse food or need somewhere for wet cookware to drain. It provides a dedicated wet area but increases the overall sink footprint and reduces uninterrupted benchtop space. White sinks are generally manageable with regular care, but food staining, tea or coffee residue and other marks may be more visible on a light surface. Rinse spills and residue rather than allowing them to sit for long periods, and follow the manufacturer's recommended cleaning method for the specific sink material. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners unless they are approved for that product.
