Shower Screens

All Melbourne Bathroom’s shower screens are made with toughened safety glass, which is a type of tempered glass. Compliant with Australia’s standard (AS/NZS 2208), our glass is durable and safe, but lightweight at the same time.

To increase safety, all our shower screens feature at least 6mm thick glass, which is the Australian standard. Most of our shower screens even have 8mm and 10mm glass, the perfect balance of safety, elegance, and lightweight. 

Not only are our screens safe, but they are also easy to maintain. The toughened glass is easy to clean with a cloth or with a vinegar-water solution to prevent limescale. All our hardware is also covered by at least a year's warranty, giving you peace of mind when you shop with us.

Improvement is our forte, and after years of improving our shower screens, we have increased our screens’ durability. The shower screens have little to no issues even after years of use, and this greatly improves our customer satisfaction.

Each screen type has its own charm, which complements most people’s tastes. Framed (fully/semi-framed) shower screens are popular with people who prefer a clear boundary between wet/dry areas, while frameless screens provide an open view of the bathroom. 

Depending on your space and design preferences, you can also choose which screen door you need. Pivot doors can open easily when pushed/pulled, but might not work well in small bathrooms. There are also sliding shower screens, which save space and look just as sleek.

Another popular style is the walk-in shower, which features only one screen without a door, creating the feeling of extra space. This screen is also available for bathtubs ( over-bath screen), which are perfect for bathtubs that double as a shower area.

At Melbourne Bathroom Shop, you can find standard and custom shower screen sizes. Our screens usually come in 900x900mm and 1200x900mm. These sizes will fit most bathrooms nicely, but for a perfect fit, we recommend our custom screens.
